Civic Season, a promotional brand that encourages Gen Zers to civically engage, was kicking off their inaugural event and needed to launch a 5-page website, containing links to approximately 100 events and learning sites. We were given a tight turnaround of two months.
With Civic Season co-branded by Made By Us and Civics Unplugged, we first needed to create a new identity that borrowed from and complemented both brands. Once we defined their brand positioning statement and established messaging hierarchy, we developed a color palette, font and logo. We then extended the brand elements to the website as well as social media templates and creative.
In the end, we designed, wrote, developed and deployed a website that helped motivate Civic Season’s primary, secondary and tertiary audiences to rewind and look at their history and reimagine what it meant to take action.
For our work on Civic Season, we received an Honorable Mention in the Civic Design category at the Sixth Annual San Francisco Design Week Awards, an international competition that honors projects encouraging thought leadership in design.
